Features Of Glass Mould Brick For Bent Glass

Bent glass is a kind of curved glass made by heating and softening high quality flat glass and then annealing and cooling it. It is aesthetically pleasing and can be used in solar energy, construction, automotive, bath, furniture, household appliances and other industries. The quality of the glass mould brick is one of the important factors that determine the forming quality of the bent glass. 

The bending of the glass is is carried out in the bending furnace. First cut glass into the desired size, then put it into the bending furnace and heat the glass to the softening temperature. There are two bending ways: moulding method and gravity sedimentation method. 

 

When adopting the molding method, in order to reduce and avoid defects, the quality of the glass mould brick is important. 

 

It is manufactured from micron grade material, which is pressed molding following being mixed by high speed blender. The maximum rod is 1000 with extremely fine section structure. 

 

It has good Thermal Shock Stability. No cracks even chap would be happening after long service. 
 

It is eay to be machined. It is manufactured based on the customer request, which avoids waste from cutting of the big blocks.
